Super GFP - Leucistic Juvenile Axolotl
Unfortunately, our breeders capable of producing super GFP leucistics were stolen 03/22/2024 and we have yet to adequately replace them. This theft was primarily carried out by a woman named Kristen Schofield. She was assisted by at least 3 people, including Amanda Barritt, Jeremy Ormsby, and Melissa Ormsby. This theft was supervised by Sherrif Deputy Leah Howe. Kristen told Howe that these axolotls would be "destroyed" by the owner of Axolotl Galaxy if she did not take them. Please be patient as we attempt to breed more lucys. The process of selectively breeding healthy axolotls with unique variants such as this is a lengthy and difficult one.
GFP is an abbreviation for "Green Florescent Protein." It is the same protein found in jelly fish and fireflies. This protein is inheritable and shows up best under a blue light.
