Pair of African Clawed Frogs

These frogs must be sold together. The bigger one is female, the smaller one is male. They are fed 2 European Nightcrawlers every other day. 50% water changes are done every other week.

If you are purchasing the frogs only, you must demonstrate that you will be placing them in an aquarium or pond that is 55 gallons or bigger. These frogs are currently being housed in a 55 gallon aquarium, and it would be inhumane to downgrade them to a smaller space. Whatever they are placed in, it MUST have a lid. Unlike axolotls, these frogs will attempt to escape their aquarium, despite being unable to survive outside of said aquarium. These are fully aquatic amphibians.

If you are planning on purchasing the 55 gallon aquarium alongside the frogs, you must have a minimum of 2-3 strong people to carry the aquarium as it is extremely heavy. You must coordinate when you are going to pick it up, as the aquarium will have to be drained prior to pick up. If you don't contact us shortly after placing your order, we will contact you to coordinate. 

When purchasing both frogs with the aquarium, the following is included
-55 Gallon Glass Aquarium 
-Filter
-1 Male Frog
-1 Female Frog
-2 Goldfish (they have not been eaten by the frogs, and are just pets of the frogs, I suppose. This is probably for the best as goldfish are not good feeders for African Clawed Frogs.)
- Small rock
-Plastic plants
-Plastic things to hide in/under
-2 pieces of driftwood. 
-Food for the fish
-Bucket (containing the afformentioned frogs)

It is strongly recommended to acquire live plants for these animals, as they will enjoy the live plants. The frogs will enjoy floating plants such as duckweed or water lettuce, and the fish will enjoy plants such as anubias or java ferns. Depending on how long it takes for these frogs to sell, plants may be added to the aquarium and be included with the rest of the accessories and such. These frogs were dropped off at Axolotl Galaxy in November of 2025.
